ArtHalle · Bucharest
About
ArtHalle is an independent contemporary art platform created to bring together the energy of artists, curators, cultural organisations and collectors.
ArtHalle currently operates without a permanent exhibition space, developing projects in collaboration with venues and partners.
From the beginning, the project responded to Bucharest’s need for spaces dedicated to artistic production and exhibition. Today, that mission continues through pop-up exhibitions, curatorial projects, publications, dialogue and art advisory.
Mission & vision
Art as a meeting place
ArtHalle’s mission is to make contemporary art accessible and relevant, creating contexts in which audiences can discover, understand and collect art. We support cultural creation and circulation through a coherent programme attentive to social themes and the life of the city.
Our vision is a meeting place — physical or temporary — where art is the common ground. We work for artists, curators, collectors, art lovers and those encountering contemporary practices for the first time.
Artists & collaborations
Distinct practices, lasting connections
Established artists and their work hold an important place in our programme, alongside emerging talent and international partnerships. We build relationships between artists, art professionals, institutions, venues and new audiences.
All featured artists are represented by ArtHalle. For artwork information and availability, enquiries are handled directly by the gallery.
